School Uniform Information

Blazers	Black, with school badge – COMPULSORY ALL YEARS
Sweaters	Plain black sweaters or one with flash in House colours or pupils may choose to wear a plain, black tank top (Optional for all years] NO OTHER SWEATER IS ACCEPTABLE
Shirt	White shirt, which should be properly tucked in to trousers or skirt AT ALL TIMES.
Tie	House Tie, available from school
Trousers	Boys - Black or Charcoal Grey Girls – Black straight leg, tailored trousers
Skirt	Grey, approximately knee length: Box Pleat in Years 7 and 8;                                                      ‘A’ line in Years 9, 10 and 11
Shoes	Black school shoes.   TRAINERS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE
Socks	Boys - Dark socks Girls – White ankle socks/black tights (Dark socks only if wearing trousers)
Sundry	Aprons MUST be used for Food Technology
Nail Varnish	NOT ACCEPTABLE
Jewellery	Pupils are allowed to wear a wristwatch and ONE PAIR of plain gold ear studs (ONE IN EACH EAR)  No other forms of jewellery or body piercing acceptable in school
Coats	Pupils have to move regularly between the two buildings so coats should be PLAIN and waterproof.  Expensive fashion coats should not be brought to school, as they are more likely to get ‘lost’ or stolen.  Equally, HOODED JACKETS, TRACK SUIT TOPS and DENIM JACKETS are not allowed for security purposes
Peaked Caps	NOT ALLOWED IN SCHOOL
School Bag	Pupils should bring a bag suitable for carrying books, kit and equipment as needed
Valuable Possessions	Pupils should not bring large amounts of money or valuable possessions to school

The School reserves the right to send pupils home to change if they arrive without the correct uniform

Our nominated suppliers of uniform are TRUTEX.  Trutex Direct brochures can be obtained from school.  Orders for uniform items can be made by phone, by post or on line. You can also purchase uniform items from S+R Fashions in Widnes.   Please Note: School Ties can ONLY be ordered in school

 

PE AND GAMES KIT

‘Sportswear International’ are the new suppliers of our PE kit. Order forms, available from the Reception Office, should be completed and returned to Sportswear International, 11 Dyers Lane, Lymm, Cheshire WA13 9QL

 

All Year 7 pupils should wear the new P.E. kit identified below.  All other pupils can continue to wear the old style P.E. kit until they need to replace items of kit.

 

BOYS:

• Navy Blue rugby top with reversible maroon stripe
• Navy Blue polo shirt
• Navy Blue shorts
• Navy Blue socks with maroon edge
• Navy Blue tracksuit bottoms - Optional

Also Required:

• Training Shoes/Football Boots

 

GIRLS:

• Navy Blue rugby top with reversible maroon stripe
• Navy Blue polo shirt
• Navy Blue shorts
• Navy Blue socks with maroon edge
• Navy Blue netball skirt
• Navy Blue tracksuit bottoms - Optional

Also Required:

• Training Shoes/Football Boots

N.B.

• Both boys and girls MUST bring a towel to all lessons
• For Health & Safety reasons, all pupils must remove ear studs before all PE lessons
