HIGH achievers from across Halton have been rewarded for their hard work during an awards ceremony at The Stobart Halton Stadium.
Parents, teachers and governors joined to celebrate the success of students in Run-corn and Widnes at the Halton High Achievement Awards.
The students were nomin­ated for awards after achiev­ing the best GCSE and A-level results in the borough.
Youngsters were also nom­inated to receive awards for 100% attendance and for tal­ent displayed for art, music and physical education in­cluding dance and drama.

Fairfield High School choir got the Halton High    " Achievement Awards evening under way with three African songs followed by a gospel song under the conductorship of Janet Whittingham.
