Charitable teenagers lauded

SEVEN Fairfield High School pupils were recognised for their charity work at an event at Halton Stadium.
Michael Clegg, 13 , Kirsty Easton, 15, Kate Rush, 13, Callum Lee, 15, Claire Harrison, 15, Amy Rogers and Rebecca Buck, both 16, were honoured at the Halton Citizenship Awards.

Michael was honoured for the work he has done with his grandmother to support street children in Delhi, India.
Kirsty received her citizen­ship award for charity work and helping other pupils, while Katy was credited with helping her mother deliver

support in a care home.
Callum and Claire won .praise for their work supporting the Macmillan Cancer Support charity.
Amy and Rebecca were accompanied by their teacher, Rachel Robinson, when they received Global Citizenship -Awards for their efforts to sup­port an orphanage in Ghana.
