Carole joins
ranks of the
UK elite
A WIDNES teacher has joined the country's
creme de la creme after scooping an award
for excellence.Carole Watson, a modern languages
teacher
at Fairfield High School, has
become one of approximately 50 UK
teachers to receive Excellent Teacher
Status.The school has praised Mrs Watson as a
dedicated and inspirational teacher who
fills her pupils with confidence and
motivation. Carole said: "Being awarded Excellent
Teacher status is in no small measure a
reflection of the fact that for the last 26
years I have chosen to teach at Fairfield
High School. "The ethos at Fairfield is one of genuine
respect and care for each other pupils and
staff alike and a desire to get the best out
of everyone. "I have been privileged to work with truly
professional colleagues and fantastic pupils
from whom I have learned so much over
the years. "I would like to thank every last one of
them for their constant support, friendship
and guidance which have helped me to

status and it is well deserved for the
exceptional contribution she makes to
